FANTAVOICE / GAME

The auctioneer game

The voice calls a bid. You tap the raise — always one more — before the count ends. Twenty rounds, three lives, and a voice that speeds up.

Turn the volume up: you hear the number once. Without audio, the game shows it written for a moment.

Why “sixty” and “seventy” blur

In a room with ten people talking, those two words differ by one opening syllable — the first thing that gets lost. The wrong answers in this game are not random numbers: they are the pairs FantaVoice’s speech recogniser has to separate during a real auction.

A raise is always one more

The rule this game trains is the one that costs auctions at the table: a bid that does not beat the previous one is not a raise, and the auctioneer ignores it.

And one, and two, and three

The count you hear is the one FantaVoice calls during real auctions: three beats, and every valid raise restarts it. Here the voice speeds up each round.

The real auctioneer is in the demo, and the three auction modes are explained in how it works.
