The auction sheet now prints in colour

Rows tinted by role, a coloured header band, white columns where you write. And the on-screen preview is the actual sheet.

What changed

The sheet printed correctly but grey. It now uses the colours of the game where they help: the role dot, and above all the whole row in a very diluted version of the same colour.

The two number columns stay white on purpose: they are boxes to fill in by hand, and a tint would make them look already taken. The line between one player and the next is heavier, because the old one showed on screen and vanished on paper.

How it is used at the table

The sheet is used at two moments. During the auction you write name and price as soon as the auctioneer says sold, one row per slot: by the end of the night the squad is already complete and nobody has to rebuild it by scrolling a chat. In larger leagues it is worth printing one per team and handing it to whoever runs it.

After the auction it stays the reference document until the data lands wherever you usually keep it. It is paper: it does not depend on a battery, on a network that does not reach the third floor, or on an app that asks you to register to read back what you wrote yourself.

The player boxes are deliberately empty. There is no preloaded list here: names and valuations belong to whoever publishes them, and the sheet is made to be filled in by hand with the ones from your league.

The tints are pale on purpose

A sheet with solid backgrounds eats ink and is hard to write on. These tints are pale enough to read a pen over, and chosen so that if a printer ignores backgrounds altogether the sheet still reads perfectly in black and white.

The other change is the preview: the sheet is now white on screen too. Before it was dark like the rest of the site, which meant showing one thing and printing another.
